What is the difference between the deposit and the drawing fee?

The deposit acts as insurance for me if you do not show up to your appointment. If you do, the deposit is deducted from the total price of the tattoo and is no extra cost. The drawing fee is an additional cost that covers the time it takes to draw custom projects. It is NOT deducted from the total price of the tattoo. Flash and custom work are otherwise priced the same- $200/hr. I only charge for the time spent tattooing. Both the deposit and the drawing fee are non refundable.

What is your covid policy?

All client are required to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Masks are not required but they are welcome. If you are feeling sick, have been exposed to someone with covid, or have tested positive for covid, please do not come to you appointment. I’m happy to reschedule for any reason. Please refer to my reschedule policy under “Book with me”.
Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?

You’re welcome to being a friend with you to you appointment! Please just let me know ahead of time. Depending on how busy the shop is at the time of the appointment that may have to wait in the waiting area.

Can I see the design ahead of time?

I will have the design ready for you when you come to your appointment. We will have plenty of time for revisions. Due to the volume of custom projects I do, I am usually unable to send you mock up drawings in advance but exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

What if I don’t have Venmo?

PayPal is too! Please make a note of this in your booking form if it applies to you. The remaining balance for the tattoo is CASH ONLY.

Do you do color tattoos?

No. If you are looking for a color tattoo I am not the artist for you! I’m more than happy to make a recommendation though!

What should I do to prepare for my tattoo?

Make sure you get a good nights sleep, drink lots of water, and eat a hearty meal before you come. Wear comfy, loose fitting clothes. If you’re getting tattooed on a part of your body that you will need to undress for, consider bringing a change of clothes or wear something that allows for access to that part of your body. Remember to bring your ID and cash!

How do you feel about numbing cream?

Numbing cream is fine, however, please communicate with me beforehand. I have a relatively light touch and am generally rather speedy so you may not need it! I also have various numbing agents I can use while I tattoo that may be more effective than numbing cream. If you’re thinking about it just let me know!

I filled out a form and I haven’t heard back, what now?

It usually takes me a week or two to go through all of the booking forms so please be patient! I try my best to respond to every booking form even if I do not accept your proposal. Check your spam folder!

What if my tattoo doesn’t heal as expected?

Touch ups are always free! Please just send me an email with a well lit, clear photograph of your healed tattoo and we will set something up. I’d love to see you again!
